This policy covers the apps Tidybit Apps publishes on the Atlassian Marketplace (“our apps”) and this website, tidybitapps.com.
Our apps
Where they run
Our apps are built on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s app platform. They run on Atlassian’s infrastructure and store their data inside your Atlassian site. They do not send your data to any server outside Atlassian, and we do not operate servers that receive it.
What they store
Each app stores only what it needs to work. For example, Pinly stores:
- the IDs of pinned comments (not the comment text),
- the Atlassian account ID of the person who pinned each comment, and when,
- the short note added to a pin, if any,
- each project’s Pinly settings.
Each app’s documentation lists exactly what it stores.
Who can see it
Data stored by our apps follows Jira and Confluence permissions. For example, Pinly only shows a pinned comment to people who can already see that comment.
Logs
Atlassian may give us access to technical logs from our apps so we can fix errors. Our apps are designed not to write the content of your issues, pages or comments into these logs.
Deletion
When you uninstall one of our apps, its data is handled according to Atlassian’s Forge data retention rules. Data stored on issues (such as the pin count Pinly keeps for search) stays on the issue until the issue is deleted.
Atlassian
Atlassian processes data when you use any Marketplace app, including billing and licensing. That processing is covered by Atlassian’s privacy policy.
This website
- No cookies and no analytics. This site does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising pixels.
- Hosting. The site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
- Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to help you. We don’t add you to mailing lists.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email support@tidybitapps.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in our apps’ Marketplace release notes.
